Sigma Beta of the Year-  Congratulations to Terry Chadwick for winning Province VI Sigma Beta of the Year for 2008-2009!!!!!!!

Next Meeting- Our June meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 8th at 6:30pm.  Location is Olive Garden on Holcomb Bridge Road by GA 400.  We will elect and install our 2008-09 officers.   Be sure to file your reports with Charity and/or Ways and Means Chairs and bring your Coke Rewards caps and can tabs.  

Verizon Amphitheater at Encore Park-  ***This project is on hold until we can remedy our IRS status***  With a slow Arena schedule in the summer, we'll be working for extra money at the new Encore Park in Alpharetta.  The commission is a little less, but the prices will make up for it.  $10 for a 24-ox BEER!  This park's schedule has been added to Arena Central beneath the Gwinnett schedule.  Please check it out and try to add some of the rock shows to your schedule.  If you'd like to lay claim to any event, email Heather.  There's a link to the Park's official site on Arena Central for further info on the facility, location, etc.  Kim K  is negotiating our schedule. 

Blankets for Share Atlanta-    Betty is planning another blanket social for us.  This time, the blankets will go to Share Atlanta.  The dimensions will be different from Project Linus and Betty will get details out soon.  Meantime, if you see fleece at a good price, go ahead and buy some.  Don't forget to keep the receipt or report all costs and time to our Jennifer. 

Convention 2009-  Kim Brown has set the ball in motion and the 2009 Convention will be held at the historic Sheraton Reed House!  Pam and Sue are brainstorming for themes!  If you have items that would make great raffle prizes or raffle baskets, start stockpiling.

Ronald McDonald House of Atlanta-  Keep saving those Pop-tops!  They do make a difference!

North Metro Miracle League-  Terry, Abbi, Kim K & heather showed up to lend a hand and heart on May3rd.

March For Babies-  We have pledged $75 to the March of Dimes March For Babies.  Betty also invites us to join her and her family on Saturday, April 26th to walk. 

Walk For Autism- Matt & Jay Brown were sponsored by EA in the Walk For Autism for Autism Speaks.
